Composition and pharmacological properties: "Yam BK"® ointment contains 100 g of active ingredients: sulfur - 10 g, zinc oxide - 10 g and auxiliary ingredients: salicylic acid, lysol, turpentine, tar, lanolin, petroleum jelly and distillate "Yam BK"® ointment has acaricidal and fungicidal activity. The components included in the ointment have antiseptic, keratolytic, astringent properties, which contribute to faster recovery. Indications for use: Yam BK® ointment is used in the treatment of animal eczema, dermatitis and trichophytosis caused by sarcoptic and psoroptoid mites. Contraindications: Contraindications to the use of the drug include increased individual sensitivity of animals to the components of the drug. Do not use in CATS due to increased sensitivity of species to resin. procedure and dosage: Yam BK® ointment is used externally, it is applied to the affected area of the skin and around it with a thin layer of 2-4 cm without removing the first crusts and without cutting the hair; the ointment is lightly applied to the treated surface. The affected areas are treated 1-2 times a day for 7-10 days, depending on the severity of the lesion. Control microscopic examinations of the scraps are carried out 10 days after the last treatment. If pathogens are detected in the animal, the treatment is repeated. To prevent small animals from licking the medicine, put a cervical collar or apply a bandage. Side effects: When using Yam BK Ointment according to the instructions, as a rule, no side effects and complications are observed. If individual sensitivity to the components of the drug increases in the animal and signs of skin irritation appear, stop the treatment, remove the ointment with a tampon and wash with water. No additional treatment is required.
